Bara Church is built by the Bara mountain that is a very mythical montain. The mountain has been a sacrifice mountain and a focal point for the community, and so even today. (not for sacrifice) Traditions are strong will live on for generations and each Walpurgis local people gathered on the mountain. Traditions and heritage of previous generations connects to today’s generation and they care a lot about his mountain with the beautiful church by its foot.
.
Legend says that there shall be in underground passage between the rock pit and the church. What we can see is that the mountain has had a very central role in the area both geographically and for the people who lived in the mountain surroundings.
